Lichfield Festival is one of the UK’s leading multi-arts Festivals, featuring an eclectic mix of classical music, jazz, cabaret, folk, pop and world music, alongside dance, theatre, comedy and literature events.  Classical music remains at the heart of the Festival’s programming and, alongside appearances by world-class soloists and ensembles, the Festival also champions the stars of the future, via its annual Young Artist Series.  The Festival also offers a year-round Aspire! learning and participation programme in schools and the community.

The Festival’s 40th anniversary kicks off on Thursday 7th July with a concert by Tony Hadley in the beautiful surrounds of Lichfield Cathedral. The 11 day programme will also feature fireworks, a flagship community dance programme, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, outdoor Shakespeare and much more…
