Wimbledon Bookfest is a vibrant arts and education charity dedicated to celebrating great literature and culture in an inclusive and inspiring way. Our annual autumn festival brings great writers and thinkers together with readers from across South London and beyond to share stories and ideas. Our festival reaches over 25,000 people every year, including our year-round education programme which helps pupils to develop literacy skills and a lifelong love for reading, including those facing the most disadvantage.

We are a charity working at the heart of our community, partnering with local, national and international organisations, donating books to schools and offering concessionary and free tickets to make the arts accessible for all.  We are also a festival with a truly global outlook. In 2023, we proudly launched a partnership with Lahore Literary Festival to celebrate and elevate South Asian voices, stories, and cultural heritage, an exchange that continues to flourish in both countries at our respective festivals.
