Founded in 2011, Music@Malling brings world-class music to historic venues in and around West Malling, Kent.  Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and a rich cultural heritage, our concerts and outreach engaged hundreds of people who would not otherwise have access to high quality arts provision: out activities bring outstanding musicians to people’s doorsteps and place innovation and creativity at the heart of our programmes.

Contemporary music – its composition and performance – are at the centre of our concerts and outreach – putting new music into its cultural and historical context alongside classical music and jazz. Recent projects include Six Brandenburgs: Six Commissions which was in the Best of 2022 Classical in The Guardian and The Artsdesk.  Forthcoming events include Earth, Wind, Fire and Water – a series of concerts featuring contemporary music by Deborah Pritchard and art by Maggi Hambling. Our annual festival runs from 21st September – 1st October 2023 and a series of differentiated outreach activities run throughout the year.
