Gŵyl Cariad Aber (Aberystwyth’s Festival of Love) is a vibrant, site-specific arts festival based in Ceredigion, West Wales. Running annually from Santes Dwynwen’s Day (January 25th) to St. Valentine’s Day (February 14th), the festival celebrates the multifaceted theme of ‘Cariad’ (Love) exploring connection, community, creativity, and the bond with our unique coastal landscape.

The festival is defined by its commitment to being a town wide effort. It transforms Aberystwyth into a living gallery, showcasing ambitious, high-calibre work from local and national artists in unexpected spaces. Shop windows, businesses, and public venues become the canvas for commissions, community art trails, live music, poetry, and workshops.

Gŵyl Cariad Aber aims to be radically accessible, using a playful and inclusive approach to art that unites artists and audiences. It acts as a vital spark for community connection during the quieter winter months, while laying the foundation for a sustainable, year-round creative network in West Wales.
