Monday 15 June 2015
with @lizziehodgson01 & @emilyaturner
Those of you who came to last years Conference for Festivals in Canterbury will already have heard Lizzie Hodgson speak and witnessed her enthusiasm and vast knowledge of this subject.
Who is it for?
What will the Programme include?
- Learn what makes compelling digital content
- Understand how to better use social and digital content to engage audiences
- Find out who is having success on social through case studies
- Learn how to measure your social performance
- Take home a social media toolkit with training tips and links to use after the workshop.
What to expect: The three step approach
Step 1: Your homework
We will send delegates a link to an online form so we can assess your current social/digital skill set. This will help us better plan and shape the training session specifically for your needs.
Step 2: Your workshop - knowledge through interaction
We steer away from lecture-style training and believe in learning through interactive workshops, group discussion and sharing experiences.
‘Strategy’ is our starting point and we explore how you can better use social as a communications and marketing tool to support your objectives.
We will also get you to work in small groups, collaborating in the tasks as part of ‘learning through participation’.
We walk through the core platforms and explore what content works where and when. We show you how to maximise tight budgets, sharing the best free and paid-for analytics and management tools.
We share case studies and videos to inspire and give you practical ideas to take back into the your workplace.
Step 3: Your toolkit
All attendees will take home a tailored, easy-to-use toolkit with case studies, platform information and analytics help. We will also include a template content planner.
