Bath Festivals is a long-established arts charity which celebrates music and books in a beautiful city.
The Bath Festival in May opens with Party in the City, an evening of free live music in dozens of city centre venue and is followed by an eight-day programme of more than 130 events. The festival encompasses contemporary and classical music. Literature events include appearances by top authors, talks on current affairs, guided walking tours, creative writing workshops and comedy
Bath Children’s Literature Festival, 27 September to 6 October, puts on family-friendly events for children, ranging from pre-school storytime sessions to YA books and including some of the biggest names in children’s literature. Bath Festivals also runs a year-round Creative Learning programme which includes events for schools and community projects.
